El Puerto

A Wedding with the Charm of El Puerto

Some weddings have that special something, and the wedding at Castillo de San Marcos of Begoña and Chema was one of those you can’t forget. She, from El Puerto de Santa María; he, from the Canary Islands, surrounded by friends who traveled from afar to celebrate with them. It was a day full of laughter, emotions, and pure fun in a magical setting.

The day kicked off with excitement at the house Chema’s family had rented. His grandmother, with that loving touch only grandmothers have, helped him get ready. Moments like these are pure gold for me as a wedding photographer in Cádiz. Meanwhile, Begoña was getting ready in a stunning Cherubina wedding dress. This brand never disappoints when you’re looking for something elegant and unique.

The ceremony took place at the Church of Las Esclavas, right in the heart of El Puerto. Chema, much calmer after his friends treated him to a pre-wedding shot to ease his nerves, was waiting for Begoña. And when she walked in… you could feel the anticipation in the air.

A Fun Journey to the Wedding at Castillo de San Marcos

After the ceremony, the couple’s friends played a little prank on them: they had a horse-drawn carriage waiting to take them to Castillo de San Marcos! The ride was filled with laughter and jokes.

The wedding at Castillo de San Marcos was perfectly organized by Bianca and Radiante.

For any couple looking for a wedding in a castle with character, this place is ideal.

The venue looked gorgeous, thanks to the work of Flores Atemporales, and the catering by Momento Andaluz was flawless, as always. After the dinner, the party kicked off with a DJ who had everyone on the dance floor. It was one of those weddings where you just don’t want to leave.

Being a wedding photographer in El Puerto allows me to witness days like this: full of real emotions, unexpected moments, and, above all, great vibes. Begoña and Chema’s wedding is one for the books, both for them and for all of us who had the privilege of being there.
