I always like to say that, even though these sessions are usually requested by the parents, they tend to be a gift for the children. In the future, they will see how happy they were and how much fun they had as kids. That’s why, for me, two things are super important: First, that you all enjoy yourselves during the family session. I believe that when we have fun and there’s a good vibe, it shows in the photos, so I want you to feel relaxed. This leads to the second important thing: that you be yourselves. Family documentary photography is all about you feeling comfortable while I capture the natural way you interact and play with your children. Of course, there will be time for more formal photos or portraits, and these will also be important in your memories.
