Carlota and Marco live in San Sebastián, but they’re absolutely in love with Cádiz, so they decided to tie the knot in our beautiful province. As a wedding photographer in Jerez, I absolutely love when couples come from out of town to get married here, especially in such a stunning venue like Finca Azahares.
The day started early at one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotels in Jerez: Hotel Casa Palacio María Luisa. If you’re getting married in Jerez, I highly recommend this place for getting ready. The rooms are breathtaking, and the back garden is just as gorgeous.
Marco was there, feeling nervous but mostly incredibly happy, getting ready with his father, while Carlota was in another room with her mom and sister. Vicky Tais was in charge of makeup and hair, and if you’re getting married in Cádiz, I can’t recommend her enough – she’s amazing!
Carlota’s dress was something truly special by Isabel Pardiez. The hotel’s hallways made the perfect setting for her portraits. One of the most memorable moments for both of them, separately, was when their nephews arrived. Kids always add a lot of fun to photos and create unforgettable memories.

The ceremony took place at an iconic Jerez location: San Miguel Church. Carlota arrived in a convertible Land Rover, which was a big hit with all the guests. One of the highlights was the couple’s toast with an ice-cold Estrella de Galicia right after the ceremony, before heading to Finca Azahares.

Finca Azahares has a spectacular garden perfect for outdoor weddings. I hadn’t been to this venue before, and I was blown away by how it offers such a fantastic alternative to the usual winery venues in Jerez. This space is ideal for couples looking to blend elegance with nature.
