We decided to do the session in one of the peaceful salt flats that are so abundant in Cádiz, a place that holds a special kind of magic and provides a perfect atmosphere for this kind of photography. The salt flats, with their natural beauty and open landscapes, offered the ideal setting for the couple to relax and enjoy the moment. As we strolled through the flats, the sun began to set, and the sunset gave us a warm, soft light, which made every photo capture not only their relationship but also the serenity and beauty of the surroundings. In those quiet moments, I loved hearing them talk about their future plans and seeing the complicity that was reflected in every gesture and glance.

As a wedding photographer who also works with analog photography, I like to incorporate this format into some of my sessions, as I believe that analog photos, whether in color or black and white, add a timeless quality and a unique texture that makes each image even more special. In this gay couple’s session in Cádiz, it was no exception, and I took some analog shots that captured that magical essence only this format can offer. The combination of the natural, the spontaneous, and the special touch of analog resulted in a series of photographs filled with emotion and sensitivity.

The final result was a collection of images that not only reflect the love and complicity of the couple but also the connection to the place and the calmness of the moment. For me, it was a true gift to be able to accompany them in this experience and capture those unique moments that will stay with them forever.
