Wedding at Hotel Montecastillo, Jerez

Katinka and Kim traveled all the way from Norway to celebrate their wedding at the charming Hotel Montecastillo, Jerez. It was an absolute honor to be part of their big day, and this was also my first time working at such a special venue.

A Magical Wedding Venue

The Hotel Montecastillo is far more than just a wedding venue; it’s a truly unique and magical space. Located in a stunning 19th-century castle, this hotel blends history, luxury, and nature effortlessly. With breathtaking views of the golf course and exclusive areas designed for celebrations, it’s the perfect spot for couples dreaming of an unforgettable wedding in Jerez.

Katinka and Kim stayed at this luxurious and charming hotel in the days leading up to their wedding. They prepared in separate rooms but surrounded by their closest friends, who made those moments even more special. If you’re getting married, having your friends around while you get ready is a great way to calm your nerves and truly enjoy the experience.

The entire wedding was flawlessly organized by Prosjektbryllup, a team of wedding planners who are half Spanish (Jose) and half Norwegian (Nina). They ensured every detail was perfect. Planning a wedding for a culture you’re unfamiliar with can be a lot of fun, as it’s always a chance to learn something new. For example, I discovered that Norwegians love playing games during dinner, which made the atmosphere lively and unforgettable.

Documentary and Analog Photography: Authentic Storytelling

For this wedding, I chose a very documentary-style approach to capture every moment naturally and spontaneously. If you’re searching for a wedding photographer in Jerez, I highly recommend considering this documentary approach—it’s perfect for capturing the authenticity of your special day.

Additionally, I included some analog wedding photography, which added a nostalgic and artistic touch to Katinka and Kim’s story. Analog photography is always a plus for wedding albums, as it creates timeless images full of emotion and detail.

As a documentary wedding photographer in Spain, I absolutely loved working at the Hotel Montecastillo, Jerez. Every corner of this venue offers the perfect backdrop to capture the magic of a day as important as this.

The Hotel Montecastillo, Jerez, is the ideal venue for couples dreaming of a fairytale wedding in a setting full of history. With an exceptional team of professionals and the opportunity to immortalize each moment authentically, this hotel is a top choice for weddings in Spain.
