The Perfect Day: Ana and Victor’s Wedding at González Byass Winery

A wedding at González Byass winery is not just about choosing a venue; it’s about embracing the charm and tradition of one of the most iconic wineries in Jerez.”

Ana and Victor, a lovely couple from Arcos, chose this stunning winery in the heart of Jerez for their big day. The choice wasn’t random—this place offered a magical backdrop, surrounded by history and the world-renowned Tío Pepe brand.

The morning started with Ana getting ready at home, enjoying a calm and intimate moment with her parents. She wore gorgeous Jimmy Choo shoes, a special gift from Victor, and as a wedding photographer in Jerez, I couldn’t resist capturing every detail.

Victor, on the other hand, got ready at his grandparents’ house. I asked him to finish putting on his jacket outside, by the door of an old family bar. That spot was full of memories, and it was the perfect setting for meaningful, candid photos. We wrapped up his session with some shots in the countryside—a nod to his roots and his story.

Capturing Special Moments as a Wedding Photographer in Cádiz

The ceremony took place in a charming little pavilion at the entrance of the winery. It was deeply emotional, as one of their close friends officiated it, making it extra personal and heartfelt. The couple’s nephews brought a touch of fun to the ceremony, walking in with small chalkboards showing some of Ana and Victor’s favorite things. Moments like these are what make wedding photography truly unique, especially when working as a wedding photographer in Cádiz.

Gardens of the Villa Victorina: the perfect setting for an open-air dinner

After the ceremony, we moved to the beautiful Vila Victorina gardens. This is, without a doubt, one of the most special areas in the winery. Since it was a summer wedding, the dinner was set outdoors. Picture this: long imperial tables decorated with red roses and a canopy of fairy lights twinkling overhead—it was like stepping into a storybook. The stunning decor was handled by Flor de Enea, one of the best florists not just in Cádiz or Jerez, but in all of Andalusia. We couldn’t miss the chance to take some couple portraits in such a dreamy setting.

The cocktail reception was held at La Concha, one of the winery’s iconic spaces, where guests enjoyed live music from a Cuban band, Son de Cuba y Cia. The vibe was lively and festive, with people dancing and laughing as the sun went down.

The evening continued with dinner in the gardens, followed by the final party at La Constancia. The guests had the chance to experience different areas of the González Byass winery, making the wedding feel more like a journey through its history. As a photographer, I loved the variety of spaces and the opportunity to capture every emotion throughout the day.
